Default Pop when I turn

I am new on here and have a question about my xj. Here lately i have been hearing a pop when i turn. Its mostly always to the right i can remember if i ever have heard it when i turn to the left, but anyway i cant figure out what it is. I replaced all tie rod ends thinking that was the problem. My only other thought would be the ball joints but everyone says that they look fine. I have read around and thats what people say, i just thouhgt that i would ask people on here. Is there anything else that it could be? I also have had the death wobble thats what made me believe it was the tie rods. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks alot.

sounds like the ball joints jack up the front under the axle and shake up and down you should feel little to no play if there is a lot of play its time for new ball joints, it could also be front u joints

track bar mount. either the axle end or the frame end. it will usually pop if it's a little loose. does your steering wheel go off center when it pops?

also check your front u-joints. they will also pop when turning if they are dry/bad.

Do you have a drop pitman arm? if not, get one... that took care of my wobble. check your u joints for the popping sound and make sure you're alignment is good.

Check your Ujoints..
They should be tight and NOT sound like this:

My Ujoints are newer prolly replaced them 7 or 8 months ago. And i had an alignment done a month ago when i did my tie rods. I dont have the pitman arm drop, Can i pick one up at the local parts store? It only pops once sometimes and the wheel doesnt go off center. So maybe ill replace the ball joints and check my track bar. Any other suggestions on the wobble other than the pitman arm drop?

mine popped like that when i turnded to the right and i couldn't figure out what it was untill we installed my lift. The front sway bar extension (not sure what they are really called, its what the sway bar sits on...) was broken and I couldn't tell at first. But when we had to take all that stuff apart to put the springs in we noticed it was broken. We welded it back together put the lift on and it hasn't made that noise once since.

Well i think i figured out my popping noise. I was messing around with my jeep today and noticed that my pass. side shock was loose. So i tightened the bolts and now no pop. Now its just whats causing the wobble.

like I said before, try a drop pitman arm. I got mine from quadratec my alignment guy wouldn't even do my alignment without it. he's a jeep freak and told me if the steering arms (drag link etc...) aren't close to parallel thatll cause a wobble and make for bad handling. did the arm, no more wobble handles almost like stock again
