It's from way back....my files are a mess, thought maybe it was yours...

Good to do that before the tps, isn't it? Or do you just need to check the TB...

My TPS instructions specifically state that cleaning the throttle body is recommended before TPS adjustment.

OK! I got it all put together! (I did know that). He got the TPS writeup from the link, and cleaning the IAC first isn't necessary...I'll get to mine one of these days, probably after I attach the engine to the body. (gotta pry it back now to get the E-fan out).

And again, thanks for the great info.

TPS Adjusted and IAC cleaned (for the second time). Idle is still weird. Haven't had much time to diagnose it. Trans cooler line blew (PO crushed them somehow). I also caught a whiff of gasoline when I parked and found one of my three original injectors leaking. Replaced with three more of the unknown injectors. The engine is much more responsive.

So...fix or replace exhaust manifold, weld in a flex joint at the downpipe, and diagnose idle are in the near future.

Updates to follow completion.

Sounds like a plan to me! Hopefully with some good welds and a flex joint it will hold up. I really just don't want to pull the manifold though. I've been fixing so much crap I just want to drive it for a while.
