Do you need the whole sending unit, or just the pump?

It DOES look about right, and I do believe they interchange. (those years).

I don't recall that black tube sort of in the foreground, but as I said, it looks right.

Plenty have reported problems with Airtex pumps. You might ask them....I buy local when I can BTW, even if it's a tad more.

I would imagine it would. The only thing I could see you run into is that the electrical connectors would be different. Any way you can take your pump out and bring it to a JY and test the opposite connection? that way you would know for sure what year you pulled it from and if it would work.

Have you removed your fuel pump yet to look at it? Maybe you will find it is a simple fix? I would recommend doing that so you at least know what it looks like when you go to buy a new one or parts for replacement.

So it turned out that everything on it was good i did have to replace the fuel pump but the floater was intact all i had to do was bend the copper piece so it would touch the coil of wire in the shell so i could get a reading and now it all works. not extremely accurate but its working. Its a very simple consept and im extremely happy that I can now see how much gas i got.
