Ok, he wasn't using the crimping tool correctly. He's coming along now.

Cut those connectors off and just twist them together see if it works ......

...won't the wires be too short? My eyes are almost shut, I can't stay up long enough for my nail polish to dry. Hopefully, we can get this knocked out tomorrow.

No don't cut all the wires. Just look at possibly redoing the LF assuming the color codes of all the wires correspond to where they are supposed to be.

Make sure the speaker connections are firmly on the speaker terminals first.

Couldn't do much today after work and with this weather...he'll try dis and re-connecting the wires tomorrow but he said the left front speaker is staticky and sounds like it's about to blow.
