Please help fast!!!
So i just replaced the TPS sensor and my o2 sensor after seeing the CE light on. after the replacement it went off so i headed out to the mud puddle! im in az and we dont get rain hardly so its a rare chance. as soon as i hit the puddle the light came on again. my jeep started to jump kind of while in drive and power was lost. While in drive Neutral or park it would rev up about 500 rpm. i literally just changed those sensors put the tools away and went out there. any idea on what this is!? PLEASE HELP! im thinking maybe something electrical? or fuel injectors but idk. it only happens when i hit the mud.

Yea i did and it threw codes that could have been those 2 sensors and the light went off after so i think it was good. but it also through a code for a misfire in cyl 3 so thats why im thinking fuel injectors but that doesnt explain why it only happened when it got wet.

Did you check to make sure you didnt get water or mud inside your distributor cap? It used to happen to me everytime i would take my toyota in the mud. I would take the cap off and wipe it out and it would run like new. Might not be your problem but it is easyto check and free.

You may want to calm down just a lil bit.
When the CEL illuminates it's because of an issue with a circuit, not always a component. Lets say you scanned the system and found 2 fault codes. The best method to troubleshoot is to first check the wiring of the 1st affected circuit, then test the suspect component. Clear the codes and drive the vehicle then see if any codes reappear.
The shotgun approach of blindly replacing components gets expensive and very rarely if ever solves the problem.
BTW: OBD2 codes must be cleared the memory won't reset on its own.

14 MAP sensor voltage below .16V or over 4.96V
21 Oxygen sensor signal doesn't change (stays at 4.3-4.5V).
55((?), there is no 56)) End of codes

Welcome to the forum and thanks for filling out some of your Jeep information, most n00bs neglect to do that. They're not being asterisks, just pointing out that it happens several times a day that someone pops on here with an urgent problem that isn't really urgent.
"Help! I'm hanging from a cliff by my ****** block!" << urgent!
"Help! My 17 year-old Jeep isn't running right after throwing parts at it and jumping in a mud hole!" << only urgent to you.
Turbo has given you a starting point for diagnosing your issue. Look at the vacuum line to your MAP, check the connections, check your grounds and alternator, check the connector to your O2, MAP, and ECU for a firm, corrosion-free connection and report back.
I haven't changed my TPS, does it require adjustment following installation or is it just plug-and-play?

Ignore the 12 and 55, they are informational.
Concentrate on the map sensor for starters. They can be tested and be sure that the vacuum line leading to it is pulling good vacuum.
