Take it to your mechanic. This type of diagnostic work may be over your head.

I'd start with the plug wires, Pull a spark plug or if you have and extra, test all the wires, if that works then start the engine and put along screw driver on each fuel injector and listen for a click when you put your ear to the end of the screwdriver. That should give you a start.

You have a 98'? Take a pencil and paper to Autozone and have them download any codes for free on their OBD2 scanner. Post any codes that they find before you start throwing parts at it.

Someone will have to plug a cable in to connect to your Jeep's computer. This cannot be done via email. If you have other autoparts chain stores where you live, perhaps they can provide the service for free. Otherwise, you have to seek proffessional assistance.

Paying a mechanic to diagnose and repair the problem will be less expensive than throwing parts at it and still have the same issues.

Don't know about "car MD" for a scanner I would recommend either Actron or Innova.
