Default perma lok??

hey guys, ok i might do a perma lok and drive it in 2wd kinda as a daily driver kinda thing but it seems to me that some say hey perma lok and drive around in 2wd is fine and wont do any thing but then there are some who say no dont drive with perma lok. so what im getting to is what it the real answer here???

what do you mean by perma-lok?
you mean the vac disconnect? if so, i've been doing that for years with no problems. mind you, it's not a daily driver, but gets it's fair share of street use. plus i drive it to the trails, over 200 kms each way.

my front is permanently locked ever sense my vacuum lines broke apart like dust. i drive mostly on street everyday and i havent noticed a difference locked or not seams the same to me?

well when u put the t case in 4X4 ull no that itle be in 4x4 (provided all the linkage and drive train works) dont have to worrie about the vacuum

it would be the same as having a non disconnect axle....

i like it when i know the only reason why my front axle is not working is if i know i broke it not have to guess if the posi lok broke( i have gone through 1 already)
