Hi everybody...
I'm sure more than a few of us have had their PCV hose crack while replacing the valve and grommet. Just curious what aftermarket replacements or diy substitutes people have used... If hose, what id hose and type works best? Mine is currently spliced with fuel line so I can make it to work tomorrow. Dis-advanced and pepgirls don't have a listing in their catalogs.😯
if we're talking about the same thing, here's what I did when I broke mine. it's basically 2 sizes of fuel line rubber hose and some clamps. At the manifold I reused the old plastic connector that wasn't broken. been a year and I haven't touched it once.
i went this route because the dealer wanted 96$ for the part (not kidding..) and I couldn't find the right part name on websites, so I made my own. I'll probably end up going to the junkyard if I ever need to change it though.

Yep I had it noted down in another post. Both are from the Prestone brand, but I guess others will work too.
"Prestone" crankcase vent hose ( 14/32" ) You only need about 2-3 inches, but the package contains 2ft.
"Prestone" fuel line hose 1/4" You need max 1ft.
and then on the manifold end try to reuse some of the old part like I did, otherwise I'm not sure if you'll be able to connect the hose on there. depending on the year it's not the same design
