Default passenger door hing pin

I have 85' 4door, and the driver rear door hing pin has wore through, who sells one and how to remove old one. I tried using a punch to drive old one out, no luck.

ANYONE ELSE EVER HAVE ANY LUCK REMOVING ONE?

maybe, I can't get it out, I only see the top and its flush with the door hindge. I can tell its a hollow tube with a split down one side,

so how do you remove old one, and is new one a dealer only Item?

great time to do the removable door upgrade! well if you dont want to do that.. try spraying some PB down it and let it set for a day then spray it again then use a small pocket screw driver (flat blade) then get on the edge of the pin and tap it out.

Try to tap it up from the bottom. The door will torque on the pin at some positions making it hold tighter iirc. You can either replace it with a bolt that fits, or take the pin from another door and replace that one with a bolt. That solves the loud pop click pop sound every time it opens/closes lol.

The pin in the photo I posted is from the door index stop, not the hinge, itself. If this is what's broken in yours, shoot me a PM with your address and I'll mail you the one in the picture. I've got an extra.

The pin is on national backorder from Jeep. I wouldn't count on it being available anytime soon--maybe never,

Anyone have a part number or something for the correct pin, my 1993 has some slight wear on the drivers door that I want to tighten up, don't want to go doorless.

I can't seem to find a pin for this door anywhere, they list parts for the Grand cherokee's and the XJ's after the hinge redesign but nothing for the early year to about 1996 ish

Some help would be appreciated if someone knows the fix for this!!

thanks
