PAN PLUG
4 wheel parts has been gracious enough to trade my new powertrax no slip for my 05 Silverado, for a powertrax no slip for a 8.25. I broke it from wheel hopping my 300+ hp truck (under warantee) and seriously doubt I'll have this problem with my stock 97 XJ. My problem is with the stupid leaking fill plug in the rear end pan. I have half a mind to silicone the crap out of it and stick it back on and hope for the best. I also considered welding a bung in the hole and using a tapered plug. I'm not really sure what the solution is for such a stupid problem. Any suggestions???

A new replacement plug usually fixes it. The old plug gets hard and unflexible causing the leak.
