Default P1391 I'm stuck diagnosing this

P1391, shows up while driving not usually too long after it's cleared.
I have tested ckps/cmps 5v, ground, and signal at the harness and PCM, with key off,on, and cranking.

This all seems to read fine.

I'm dead in the water, nothing more in the FSM to try.

Please someone steer me back to checking something or rechecking anything.

Thank you

By "dead in the water", you mean you have the code but no symptoms? Or are you experiencing stalling?

How did you check the signal? Multimeter?

No sorry poor terminology on my part.

I mean that at a dead end I don't know where else to go from here. I've exhausted everything that I've read about including what's in the field service manual

Yes manual and analog, though without a scope noting will capture that.

Yes, it would seem you already understand the limitation. The next step would be to either get the cam and crank sensors scoped (together) or to replace them blindly and keep the spares if they aren't the problem.

If the code tends to come back on at higher rpms (say above 2000rpm) and the crank sensor that is in it now is not Mopar, that would be my first suspect.

Usually there are other symptoms besides the code, as stated above. ? I went around with 2 duralast CAM sensors until I got a used Mopar.
Would run but not start when hot without a lot of cranking. Eventually it set that code.

Both sensors are Mopar and not stock

Not sure what you mean by that..Mopar sensors ARE stock. Are you saying you have already replaced them, if so, when? When this started?

You can use a multimeter to check the Ohms across the wires to those components to ensure that the connections are good. Post the values here.

They have both been replaced no more than 1.5 year ago. Ckps waa causing the car to die, cmps waa replaced when this code showed up a year ago, but it didn't stay around like it is now.

Ohms and voltage to sensors and pcm, grounds, 5v supply, signal have all been checked. Continuity from PCM to all wire leads was also checked.
