To correct a couple of things you said in the video:

The precats are not in the manifolds. They're in the downpipes underneath the manifolds. And yes, I intentionally wrote manifoldS, because there are two three-cylinder manifolds in the '00 and '01 XJs where the '99 and earlier had a single one-piece six-cylinder manifold.

'97 through '99 did not have the precats. It was a single manifold feeding into a single downpipe, with a single catalytic converter under the passenger side mid/rear part of the Jeep. The precat CA emissions version was an option in 2000 and standard in 2001, so your comments really only apply to those years.

Out of curiosity, before you flushed the coolant, what color was it? Did you have any of the red mud collecting at the radiator cap? Is your overflow bottle coated with a layer of mud inside it?
