i got a 92 with manual everything and i want to keep it that way. i was just tihinking if i took the window channels and the one peice glass from a 97+ if it would fit into the manual window regulator. i was gonna grab two front doors from the jw and take em apart but i just thought id ask if anyone has ever dreamt up the same idear. i was gonna use the 97+ door for half doors so i wont mind hacking them up. plus the mirrors are a bolt on so thats a plus. i guess if the window glass mounting points are the same then it schould be possible.

No prob sorry it wasn't much help. If you do it please let me know the results as i would love to do the same to my xj.
I imagine that worst comes to worst you could just use the 97 window regulator in the 92 door with a few new holes Drilled or such.
Now I need to make a jY run and check for myself lol have a good one bro
