one last thread about this please help! voltage drop and ac plus overcharge
I posted another thread about the overcharged issue so you can check that out to piece this all together.nowwww I check the air which blows very cold but...all the air comes only thru defrost vent not any other vents does come thru back vents on center console. Also since I saw it overcharges when I rev it.I turn my headlights voltage drops a bit.turn my air on if let it sit voltage drops all the way down and check gauges light comes on.I drove it around the block with air on and it stayed a little under 14 didnt move. What the heck.its gotta be the wiring.but the vents though? How does that happen

Do you have any control of where air blows? hot or cold? Pull the hvac controls from the dash and check to make sure the little cable is attached.
Correction the blend door is operated by vacuum and the temperature by the cable, at least on a 96

Is this the same rig with the hacked-together alternator wiring from some aftermarket ignition system attempt....? If so...that's your problem that you need to fix which was already indicated in your last thread.
Also, air only coming out of the vents indicates that there is either a vacuum leak, or the reservoir inside the front bumper on the passenger side was removed.

Hey what is this.cause I thought it was the alts wiring harness this is what leads Into whoever spliced Into the wiring when they had msd ignition in it.I would like to pull it out and put a new one in.but not sure which harness it is.its definetly the wiring causing some sort of short.

Guess I'll be the one to ask...you said your belt squeals like crazy. Have you verified that your belt is properly tightened, and that all of your pulleys spin correctly, freely, no slop, no seizing, and all in line with each other?
