not sure on these compressors, have not had one apart yet. Some GM one's i've changed are pressed on, you need a puller to remove them, they also have a cermanic seal as well, different ones had to evac the system, remove the clutch/bearing/seal and install new parts, the recharge. gonna check online too see what's involved.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. If it's not real warm outside, the compressor will not really kick on that often, and when it does it will be for a real short time. In fact, if it's really cold enough, like in freezing temperatures, it won't even come on at all to prevent damage to the compressor. If it's still cycling a lot like this when the weather warms up, then I would look at the level of freon, as when it gets low one of the first signs is excessive cycling.

As for your oil pressure, 20 is good at hot idle....15 is just a tad on the low side, but still with in factory spec. Look and see if there's a Fram oil filter on it. If there is, yank that thing off, toss it right in the trash, and put a good filter such as Wix or K&N or Mobil 1 if you really have the cash. I've personally used Napa Gold brand, which is a Wix brand with the Napa name on it, and never had a lick of trouble. My oil pressure is between 45-50 cold idle, and dead on 20 at hot idle after i've been driving around for a while or a trip on the highway.

yeah oil pressure is fine at running but at hot idle seems to go between 15-20 I mean the gauge is tough to read.

no fram filter.. Have to change the oil this week.. just picked her up and want every fluid changed out
