I have a spare transmission, new torque converter, precision rebuild kit, transgo shift kit, trans temp gauge and transmission mount waiting for me to tear down and rebuild.

It has solenoids, which won't cause slippage, and no band adjustments....

Not much point in throwing time and money into the old trans then.
