oil pressure

Default oil pressure

I have a 92 cherokee laraso high output. the oil pressure guage is usually peged over 80... sometimes its in normal range but not usually.. it fluxuates quite abit.. anyone else have this problem or have any ideas... thanks

I had a similar issue with my '95 it ended up being the oil pressure sending unit. Cheap fix and took like 3 minutes to change.

Im using a android and the text box dissapears a second after i hit search... sorry i tried... thanks for the help

Almost assuredly the oil pressure sending unit. I recommend purchasing a Mopar unit from your Jeep dealer for the best reliability/accuracy/mating with your factory gauge. Well worth the extra twenty bucks....

AGREED. Buy the factory unit from the stealership.

I've had a duralast unit from autozone for close to 2 years now. 8 bucks. Might be luck of the draw but its also lifetime warrantied part.
