Default Oil Pan Seal Replacement

I discovered a leak at my oil pan gasket the other day and I'm planning on replacing it in the next few days. I've never dropped my oil pan before, but I hear it's pretty easy. When I have the oil pan down, I can go ahead and replace the front and rear main seals right? Also, any suggestions on gasket sealer? Should I or should I not use sealer?

Thanks for your help guys,

yes, might as well do the oil pump as well and i wouldn't use sealer just go to napa or auto-zone and pick up the one piece silicone seal. But it's a very simple and easy job.

You sure its not the oil filter adapter? I hear thats really common. Mine leaks and I will be replacing the o-rings next time I change the oil.

It's definitely the oil pan gasket. While I'm at it though, I'll replace the filter adapter O rings as well.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Also look at the back of your valve cover,if its leaking it will make it look like the pan or the filter adapter is leaking also.
