oil pan help
n e one know how to remove the trans pan... i got it broken down but the fill pipe wont come down ? n e suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.... i mean TRANS PAN... IDK what to do

You can then remove the pan and tube assembly with a little finagling.
Yes, the upper tube does separate (it's slip-fitted with an O-ring seal,) but the damned thing cruds up and sticks over time. Easier to pull it apart on the bench the first them, clean the slip fit, then lubricate it (I prefer either PTFE "pipe dope" or never-seez - both will work. Grease & oil tends to dry out over time and make the damned thing stick again.)
