So i am on a tight budget as of recently and I was looking at prices for oil pan gaskets, cheapest I can get them is $20 and the rear main seal is $15! thats $35 before oil..... could i just use my High Temp Gasket maker on the oil pan instead of buying a Felt-Pro one?

it can get VERY messy using RTV on a 4L pan. and if there is any oil residue on any of the sealing surfaces it will not bond correctly and you will have more leaks.

there is only 1 rear main seal offered here at any of our stores and its the same felt pro number at all three stores and the cheapest is $15.XX i guess u can deal with it marking its territory every now and again when i park in the driveway
