Default Oil pan gakset replacement help.

Im replacing my oil pan gasket as its seeping oil from all over. I was looking at the manual an they have the rear main seal in the same section. I cant tell if my is leaking as my motor has too mush oil on it. Im wondering if I should just replace it while the pan is off and kill two birds with one stone? Dont know if itll be more trouble them its worth? Also the book talks about RTV sealant?? I know it needs some where the gasket halves would meet but is that it? TIA.

Use the one-piece gasktet with RTV only in the sharp corners.

Oil pan gasket since that was your first question and you seemed undecided on the rear main. Rear main is only 2 piece...

I would use 1 piece OPG, and replaced the RMS (2Piece) It will had about 1 hour to your job. I am guessing an hour for you. It took me about 15 mins longer

Gotcha. I already have the one piece oil pan gasket. Seemed like a good idea to do the rear main seal while Im there.

The rms part is 15 min job not whole project haha.

Took me about 2 hours for whole project. Having access to lift is where time is really saved.
