Quote: You just don't get it. How do you think a mechanic does it? How do the rest of us do it? Won't be covered instantly will it? Relax and monitor it and see where it's coming from BEFORE it's covered.

And BTW, this douchebag has offered you the most comprehensive, accurate, and easy to follow advice you could ask for. Even wrote a special write-up to address this issue for many others so it was at my fingertips to share with others. Perhaps parts of it are offensive to those who are over-sensitive, but it gives the OWNER of the Jeep, who is their with it, the tools they need for a proper diagnosis. Deal with it..
Dude what's your deal? Chill out

Not true. We advised you how you could determine what it was for sure so you didn't do any unnecessary repairs. You're there and we're not.

Overly sensitive people have no place in this world. Cruiser gives out a ton of good info and helps a lot but he won't sugarcoat things and hold your hand during the process. I've only been on here a month but already took in quite a bit of what he has said. Grow a set or go home and play with a civic.

I say replace your valve cover gasket, replace and re-tap the bolt that stripped. Clean the engine at the car wash than watch for leaks.

On a side note... You'll wanna moniter that cork gasket cause it won't last long.

It doesn't take being a harda** to not be a cry baby when someone doesn't hold your hand and spoon feed you information.

Well for some people, getting hands on information is better. If I recall, some of the best auto schools in the country teach you by doing hands on stuff! Holy heck! Sometimes to get the point through to people who are not professional mechanics you need to give a detailed "how to" to help them. Not be a hardA. Being cool about it will also get the point though. On a brighter side. Funny cat pic.

Getting taught by hands on requires them to pop the hood and use their senses to diagnose and trouble shoot. It's a bit different than putting your two hands on a keyboard and calling that hands on.

Who did that? I was underneath my jeep the entire time I was asking for help off my phone app. Sure I wasn't turning wrenches at that moment but I was looking for the leak. Asking for ideas on what could be leaking. Next time I won't ask CF, ill make sure to take it to a mechanic.
