Cool Mo. No, I'm not the OP. I spent almost a 1/2 hr going through 12 years oil leak experience with mine, (OK, I'm really slow), anyway, "Poof" some black football player in a pop-up add, with some audio that didn't work on my slow connection and all was gone. Wasting all that time makes me feel like chewing glass. Or better yet, meeting the person responsible might be nice.

The dye you are talking about is UV dye. You can get it at CarQuest I know for sure or order it online https://www.google.com/search?client...w=1024&bih=629

You add the amount it indicates in the instruction and then shine a UV LED flashlight (can buy on ebay for less than $5 or some come in a kit all together)

I used this in my AC to find a leak worked great.

No S. Thank you John. Anyway, I had drummed to the OP that the front CCV tube venting freely is crucial. Some little filter that clogs, or any restriction can make it **** oil like a big dog. (because of crankcase pressure from blow-by past the rings) I returned a RM seal and pan gasket when I found my vent restricted. I'm not gonna risk trying finding the other oil filter adapter link...bit me last time, when I left this page...
