I've been working on this very problem over the last couple weeks. I've discovered that jeeps are notorious for 'blow-by'. It's unavoidable so I've come up with this fix and will let you know how it works. I manufactured a 'filter' of sorts with an inlet and outlet, separated internally by a baffle packed with the metal scouring pads you can buy at any grocery store. For now, I've routed the vent hose from the front of the valve cover, through the new filter and then back over to the air box. This should catch "All" of the blow by oil,gas etc that's been poluting my air filter.
The EnValve mentioned earlier is supposed to be an ideal solution for this problem as well. I'm just chosing to try this method first.
Note: Not a bad idea to get a compression test first, just to make sure the blow by isn't due to a bad piston or the like.
