Maybe someone forgot to add oil. How do you know you have a qt left?

I'm the one who added it and I put 2 qts in and I could start to see it so I need about 2 more but I need to know were its going

Well, it can only go three places: burned in the engine, dumped into the coolant or leaked on the ground.
If you were burning that much oil you'd see it on the plugs and in the exhaust. Cooling system would be obvious- you'd see mucky milkshake in the radiator.
What's the underside of the motor/trans look like?

You did an oil change and then 24mi later it was gone? Or did a shop do it and you are just adding oil to see how low you were?

I do all the work on my jeep cheaper in labor and the radiator looks good and very light mist of oil on it

No I put 5 qts now trying to figure out how much and were
