5 quarts of oil in 24 hours? 24 days? 24 miles?

It's either leaking or burning... what does your CCV system look like? Oil in the air filter box? Any smoke? Pull the plugs and see if you're burning it?

5 quarts in 24 miles, I'd think you'd see smoke if you were burning that much. Are you certain you don't have a leak that worsens when the engine is revved up? Oil filter adapter and/or oil pressure sender are good places to check.

Impossible not to see 5 quarts of oil leak out in 24 miles.
It would either be all over the underside of the Jeep dripping off or you would have a 24 mile long smoke screen behind you.

Or you/the shop didn't put the plug back in when you changed the oil and it all ran into the drain...

put another 5 qts in, grab a flashlight, start it, look around...

that'll be $27.95 + tax for that little bit of wisdom...all sales are final.

In addition to the smell of oil burning on the exhaust pipe, I'm smellin' tuna fish.

I got a whiff of that, too. All the way from central Arizona.
