another thing to take into consideration is the deeper the final drive gearing the less strain on the rest of the drivetrain

the advantage is the 8.8 is much stronger than the 35 and its a fairly easy swap as for locker vs posi not the same but they both have advantages and disadvantages. lockers keep both tires spinning all the time but can sometimes be a ***** on pavement and POSI acts more like an open diff until you start spinning then both wheels lock up and they can be nicer on pavement. im gunna lock mine cause i dont wanna have to bother with tuning the posi to my liking and bothering with having to change clutch packs.
