Will an oem track bar fit on a 5.5 lifted cherokee. Just wanted to make sure before I started on it in the morning.

 

It'll work, but not nicely. It'd be ok to use for a while until you get a new adjustable one.

 

What would be the effect of it not working well? Right now I have the same track bar on that was on when it had a 8.5 inch lift. Its pushing the axle to one side further then the other.

 

just redrill the axle side mount. like shown here

thanx for the link, just learned something new, but I think Im going to hold off and order an adjustable bar.Although I live in the city I will be doing alot of off-roading so Im pretty sure ill get more flex w/an adjustable bar. Thanks for the help

 

if you take a look at my pics it show mine (5.5 and 33s) flexing pretty good on some snow. i have the redrilled mount. but yes after martket will be stronger
