I found some places that sells this axle as a complete set:

I understand it's a brand new one that I can put in place of my D35 without any problem, isn't it?
In that case the only problem is figure out what to do with the ABS.

Direct swap but you will lose ABS....most just remove the ABS fuse.
Oh....you might need a driveshaft from the C8.25, not 100% positive.

Might be cheaper to find one from the JY (you might be the first to buy a NEW.....or buy from me when you are in Las Vegas )

My problem is I'm in the foreign. I have no access to any decent JY here. The 'advantage' of buying a new one is I can do it online without (I guess) any surprise. The other interesting thing is already includes 4.10 gear and pinion.

What's the cost in a YJ to have an idea?

By the way, do you sell axles?

Usually you can find one from a pick and pull jy for less than $100.

No sir, i'm not a vendor, just have a pair one lying around .

GL with the search.

If you are running 4.10 and wanting to swap why not just go with the 8.8 ford rearend vs the 8.25 it's much stronger

Botakbeng: if you are bored of having them, let me know :-)

MarshalXJ: there aren't YJ where I live. Most of the cars are repaired again, and again, and again. In the case I'd find some axle, the price I guess will never be less that $800 and from Ford or Chevrolet with 30 or more years. To give you and idea: for a Ford 9" 1955 are asking $600. That's the reason I prefer to buy a new one. I evaluated the option of the Ford 8.8, besides already have disk brakes but again, have no access to a YJ. I will not run any larger than 33" so the 8.25 I guess is good enough for me. I know the OEM is expensive but I have not many options others than find a place that sell online used axles in good condition or take a fly to USA and do the search in a YJ.

By the way, here a Cherokee cost between $13000 and $20000. That's the reason the new axle does not look so expensive

Oh with just 33s and the availability of 8.25 I'd go with that then for sure

If that could be possible I'd bought my Cherokee there, put all the stuff that I can afford and bring it.

Just a (not so) few words:

The problem is that's forbidden to import used cars. To make things a little more complicated, you have to pay taxes for all that you import. That taxes are about 60% of the price plus the international shipping. And there are some things that you can't import if are produced here: tires for example. If you want to import some special tire you need to pay an air ticket to a person who travel to the company you want to import from and 'validate' the tire. Sure, as if BFGoodrich would change something due to what a Mr. Nobody thinks.

4 years ago there was an opportunity to sign a FTA with USA but the left-wing goverment thought it was a bad thing.

As a conclusion: you need to be a little crazy to have this kind of hobby here.
