ok i have no clue what this switch is on my door. i have a 96 cherokee 2 door. my drivers door has a flip up and down switch. one side said lock and the other all i can read is wow or something like tht. wat could this b for.

 

is it an original switch? it doesnt sound it. is it a lock for doors, windows, the tailgate... have you played around with it to see if it effects anything? what about a pic?

i can get a pic later today. one side of it says unlock and the other says lock wow. and it is a original switch. it looks like the door lock switch but when u flip it up it stays. iv mess with it b4 and it hasent did anything

 

child lock for the passenger windows.
says "lock wdw"

 

y would it b a child lock when i dnt have rear windows its a 2 door

 

It is to keep the child in all of us from falling out the window. Besides if that power toggle on the passenger door actually works, this is a means of keeping the passenger reliant upon the driver to put the window up and down.

 

Maybe not an original door or door panel

 

Its so when you have really nasty farts you can share it with everyone else.
