NVG 241OR RockTrac Transfer Case
so i got to wondering.... jeep offers a RockTrac(NV 241 OR-rubicon editions) transfer case which houses a 4:1 low range and has the typical 2H-4H-N-4L shift pattern. It is compatible with the 3550 manual tranny that was offered in the 00-01 jeep cherokees and the stock NP231 xcase is compatible with that as well.
Both xcase have a passenger side drop with centered rear output and the standard 23 spline shafts with the 6 bolt pattern. The NVG241OR has a fixed yoke output and the 3 wire speed sensor. I wonder if i were to get ahold of one if it would bolt up in the cherokee.
Does anyone know?
they have aftermarket shifts and everything for it so i could utilize the XJ factory shift handle it i wanted. but noone has transferred it into a cherokee from what i know of.

For the same price you can get an Atlas II with twin sticks and no chain to stretch. Rubi cases are way overpriced and overrated.
