Today was replcing my rear main seal and all was well until I got to the top half. Was tapping it out and pulled out to check if it was moving and what do you know the metal lip that holds the seal in place broke. So simple question what now?

owch. the crankshaft....i could be wrong. but im not sure. i think it might be the crankshaft seal. which is like 55 bucks from autozone. but if not. its part of the crankshaft itself. and you might have a problem.
