P0441 Evap emission system incorrect purge flow.... Why does nobody list that code in their long list of codes when I search for it on here??? I google it and GM and Dodge stuff pops up. Do I have the only Jeep in existance with this code or do I have a partially GM built computer? If anyone does know of this code, could it be caused by a tiny pin hole in the gas tank?

 

P0441 (M) Evap Purge Flow Monitor Insufficient or detected during evaporative emission system operation.

It's right there in "info threads". "excessive vapor flow"...sounds like a leak somewhere. really no clue myself...cap, line, tank?

 

Tank has a pin hole but there is an air sucking noise every time I take the cap off the fill it up so something is obviously sealing up right somewhere

"Flow Monitor Insufficient" Yea, again, Idk. Line kinked? I wonder if you could pull it off the canister and learn something....

Thanks guys I'll take a look. They have about 10 97+ XJs at my local pick and pull so I'm sure there are several sets of every single part that goes to that system
