Default No Start When It's Cold Outside...

When it was warmer weather (70+) my XJ started up perfectly....but now theres a storm goin throw and its 47 right now. Just got in from driving it...got it to start while holding my foot on the gas. It seems once its warmed up good, it will run fine and hold the normal idle rpm...then for giggles I turn it off and then try to start it again, it would start, but only idle at 100 rpm then die. Any ideas as to why this is?

MAP, CTS, IAT sensor could have resistance in their connections. Unplug them, spray out the connectors with a good electrical cleaner and reconnect. Heck, do all the connections in the engine bay while you're at it.

Gotchya...my dad think it has something to do with something else, we're gonna look at that before anything else

This was happening to me last winter (when I first got my xj) ended up being a bad fuel pump fuse. Something simple/easy to check/fix. My 2 cents.
