The beast died in front of my house, good spark, fuel to rail, pressure seems good. cleaned the firewall connector in case it was a ecu FI issue dont know for sure if FIs are firing though. what am i missing, it was running fired right up turned it off for a few min then i went to start it about 1hr later it fired over sputtered then died and now just cranks over.

also its a 93ho motor in a 89 renix system with all the mods to make it work.

Either hit it with a little ether, or spray a little gas down the throttle body, if she fires and you have fuel in the fuel rail, then you know its something with the injectors or the computer triggering them to fire.

This stuff can be tested.

Only way to truly test fuel pressure is with a gauge.

Speaking of grounds, click on the Pink Link below and do Tips 1,3,4, and 5 just cuz.

Air Fuel Spark, you've tested 2 of the 3...

Work the throttle directly while cranking to bypass IAC

Kinda. The fuel has some pressure but if it's 20 versus 30 plus PSI it won't start.

^^ Truth. Pressure is important and fuel pump's work like a light switch; on or off.

point a noid light on the injector harness, see if you've got injector pulse while cranking.

How do you test the fuel pressure with out a bleeder valve, cut and splice one in?

Autozone and/or Advance will loan a fuel pressure tester, HF also sells them for something like $30. Screws onto the Schraeder valve on the fuel rail.
