Default No spark 93 jeep Cherokee sport 4 liter

Hi,
I posted this in electrical and then realized this would be a more appropriate forum to post it in
I have a no spark issue on my jeep. When i turn the key to the on position (on but not turning over) I get 12 volts at the black 2 wire connector going in to the ignition coil. According to my schematics, this comes from the ECM. The other wire is Dark green with an orange stripe. My schematic shows it going to the Automatic shut down relay. I have ohmed out the connection to pin 87 on the relay. I never get the automatic shut down relay to turn on thus it never provides 12 volts to the other side of the ignition coil. Does the ECM look for a signal from the cam position sensor or the crank position sensor before turning the Automatic shut down relay on? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam

From what I have read, the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors will cause the issue I was having. I verified the camshaft position sensor was sending a 5v pulse signal out of the distributor. I then found that I could extract codes from the check engine light. I had a code 11 that indicates a problem with the crank position sensor. I replaced the sensor and my jeep started up first try. The crank position sensor is not easy to get to but I was able to reach the two 11mm mounting bolts from laying on the ground and accessing them from below with a long wratchet extension and socket. I removed the sensor and put the new one in place from reaching down from above the engine compartment. I then went back under and reached up using a long wratchet extension to thread the bolts back in. You need pretty small hands to do this job. I hope this helps others that have this problem.
