No power, no ignition, no nothing.
I'll give as many details as I can, as I am very confused. Any help would be awesome.
91 XJ w/ new starter, battery and alternator within the last 10 months. Last week I thought the starter was shot, as it wasn't turning over. Replaced it, only to find it was the ignition switch under the dash had come loose somehow, even though they are a pain in the *** to get out!
Last night went to the store, started fine. Went to start it when leaving the store, and heard a pop and now nothing. No lights (int and ext).
My first impression was the starter relay - upon searching the service manual, the terminals on the relay consist of the battery terminal, ignition terminal, solenoid terminal, ground, and another one that isn't used.
So going to the store now to pick up another relay - but failing that I thought I'd ask for any possible suggestions, I'll update this in a couple hours to let you know if the relay worked or not.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah..... it was something stupid..... I don't want to talk about it. In any case the 6.5" lift that came in yesterday has a purpose now!
Thanks for all the help, much appreciated
P.S. - Hey pickles, nice to see another Canadian on here!

Hey man, the ones I checked were all the maxi fuses under the hood - the starter relay one under there was the one I thought it might have been.
Battery posts too - you'd be surprised what a tap on the posts will do if the current isn't there. Give your posts a good scrub with a brush if you have some.
