Default No power

I went out and got in my Jeep today, turned the key, and nothing happened. Acted like the battery was completely dead. So Ive swapped it out with two other batteries which I know are good and fully charged, still nothing. No lights, no buzzer when the ignition switch is turned on, just absolutely nothing. All fuses are good, battery cables and all connections are good, I've checked everything I can and can't find anything wrong. And it was running just as good as it always has last night on my way home from work. I'm lost, and need my XJ running, since I just sold my only other vehicle. Any suggestions?
87 2.5 4x4 btw.

Put it in neutral, then start it.
Or jiggle the shifter while turning the key.. It should start..

Edit: I should have read closer.. I'm so used to seeing the same "my Cherokee wont start" post.
My apologies.

Theres no power at all. Not that it just wont start. NSS is bypassed anyways, it will start in gear with the clutch engaged.

Checked all the grounds I could find, guess I'll see if I can find any more.

In neutral, hot wire the solenoid.. if it cranks, your ignition switch might be bad.

This is an 87. Have you checked your "fusible links"? I believe you have them on your vintage but I don't know the specifics.

Ok, so I finally figured this out. One of the small hot wires coming off the battery was broken right in the middle. Insulation was still fine, just the wires inside the insulation were broke, so it looked normal. Replaced the cables and all is good again.
