Did your check engine light come on? Your Neutral Safety Switch probably needs to be cleaned or replaced.

test your tps, mine wasnt going into overdrive either, my tps and iac and mat sensors were bad. put the new ones on and now i have overdrive. when i do 65 the tach shows around 2000-2100. before it was showing like 2400-2500 rpms.

Try this: start out in 3, listen and feel for the shifts, watch the tach if you have one. 1-2 and 2-3 OK? Move it forward to D while watching the tach. The RPMS should drop and should drop AGAIN then torque converter lockup is achieved.

So are you not getting OD, lockup, or both?

The brake pedal switch will disengage lockup.
