alright guys put a new tps on the jeep today and had all the codes cleared and it drove fine for about 3 miles then started not wonting to go into over drive and could the trans fluid being over filled cause it to not go into overdrive

i have a 2000 sport. i had the same problem with my overdrive after i changed the trans. there is a sensor on the passanger side of the trans that has a nut on it to ajust the sensor. i did that and havent had a prob yet and thats been 4 months ago

Adjust your stoplight switch. The Torque Converter Lock-Up Solenoid power goes though the Normally Closed (N/C) contacts in the switch.

Really and it's connected to the brake pedal cause already looked there and there's no adjustment all there is is a square sensor and it doesn't adjust

Alright I've tryed everythang and still can't figure it out it will go in sometime and downshift to third anymore ideas guys and girls
