If you are near OKC you might just PM the guys from there to find which trails are close that will accomodate your Jeep. If you are not you will have to wait or explore a little with others.

Mainly you want to have tow points front and rear when going out on a trail run because if you end up getting stuck, it's hard to find a suitable place to attach a strap. Some recovery equipment such as straps, hi-lift, etc wouldn't hurt to have. They come in handy when you get stuck.

I am in Oklahoma and yeah I don't get over to the local forum area much sorry about that.. No plans right now for any wheeling...last time I went we went to the river and have to access via private land and can only do that when specific guys go..I gotta get through the semester and then after graduation you can bet I will be out on the trails at least twice a month.. Not to mention I need to go over to custom 4x4 fab and snag me some front tow hooks..

Nope sure wasn't me...I am in OKC so I am never that direction..Infact I was in Edmond all day at UCO..

There is a local jeep club and I know there is a guy out your direction who's a member..They do get togethers and what not..Most of em are moderate to extreme rides and rairly meant for a stock jeep..Here's a couple links to some clubs in oklahoma..

extreme4wheelin.com
http://www.gettinbentoffroad.com/

here's the one I was originally talking about..
http://www.trailchasers.com/

Anyways you can google jeep clubs and get some decent hits..Also check your local 4x4 shops they will know of some good local places to wheel at..
