Default No ignition power at all. Please help

I have a 88 cherokee auto and one day i parked it and all was well about a week later i got in it to move it and nothing. I turn the key and nothing happens no dash lights heater or anything. I have dome lights head lights and everything that the ignition doesnt power. I put a new switch in and still nothing. all fuses look good and all the fuseable links by the battery tested good. There was one on the starter relay that has a fusable link that had no power and when i put a test light to it nothing on both sides but if i hooked the light to postive it would light up like it was a ground but why would it have ground? I dont know what that wire is. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks steven

Check your battery connections. I had te same problem and it ended up being the bolt that holds the hot wire on was busted so the connection was bad

Thanks i tried that and its all good. All my grounds look good but im going to pull them all off tomorrow and sand them all down too. I was also thinking about pulling off the plug that goes into the fuse box and cleaning it. Is there any fuses im missing that are under the hood? This is driving me crazy. Also before this happened i pressure washed it but it started fine right after and i didnt wash under the hood.

So i think it might be where the main harness plugs into the fuse block. I went out side today and noticed the blinker was on so i got in it and it fired right up. But then i touched the main plug on the fire wall for the fuse block and it died and that was it. Took it a part and cleaned it and still doesnt work!! Talk about false hope. So whats my next step? Also I noticed that water is leaking right in that area so maybe its to wet? Any ideas please let me know. Thanks

Maybe That is an idea but when i jump the starter it works fine and has never acted up. I have two jeeps so maybe ill swap them. But even when i have the key on and jump the starter it turns over fine but wont fire because there is no ignition power.
