I just found a video on the headlight switch replacement and the guy had to pull the whole lower dash panel. Is that the only way to do this? I figured the dash face comes off and the switch comes out by unscrewing the block it's in.

It blows what fuse when the headlights are turned on? And the tale-lights work? But not the gauge lights? I'm in and out/working....you might look at the instrument ground info somewhere in Cruisers/my sig. Bulbs?

I did that ground while I had it pulled apart. #9 fuse blows, instrument illumination

Fixed it. PO wired the dimmer into the radio ground. *******
