Default No Gauges Radio or Interior Lights.

So last Saturday I pulled in to work and shut jeep off. Everything was working fine. Go in and work my shift. I come out open passenger door put lunch box in passenger seat shut door. Then go to driver's door open it and get in. Start jeep up no radio all gauges are at zero and no interior overhead lights. Checked all fuses under hood and kick panel found a 15a fuse under hood blown. Tried replacing it and it blew as soon as I put it in. Anyone had this issue? Oh and I did pull the passenger door panel off.
And wiring that passes threw body all out and inspected it for broken wires. Found nothing. But I haven't got to the driver's door yet. Any help would be appreciated. I suck at wiring lol.

That's the blown fuse

What year xj?

Check what the fuse correlates to
you have a short in that circuit most likely, since it immediately blows again.

If 97 and up, see this thread

I'm sure there will be similar for earlier years

Yep
next step would be finding the appropriate wiring diagram, helps a lot with identifying the wires and more so: the common areas.

I looked at my fuse 16 circuit function and that didn't make sense with your outages, but yours does. 01 def different than 97.

Do you have a multimeter?
