Default No gauge cluster lights, any help?

Okay, so last night I went take my Cherokee out for a drive. Turned on the headlights and everything and realized I had no speedometer lights, along with no tach lights or any of the gauges. Yet the blinker lights and indication lights in the gauge cluster all work. I'm stumped, I checked all the fuses and today I pulled the gauge cluster to check the bulbs, all of them are fine. Any ideas on what to check next?

You hooked the dimmer circuit up to the aftermarket radio, don't do that, it causes the problems that you are having. I bet the running lights are not working too.

Oh, well I couldn't get the radio working so I ended up taking it out about two days ago. Could I still be getting this issue with it taken out?

I just bought the jeep about 4 days ago, and after looking at that fuse diagram i figured out which fuse was the instrument cluster illumination fuse. After i found the fuse slot I looked closely and realized there's no fuse connectors in the slot. Here's a picture i circled the instrument cluster fuse slot in yellow. Any ideas on what I could do to fix this problem? Kinda new to the dash electronics thing. Any suggestions would help, thanks alot guys.
