Default No dash lights or running lights! Help please!

Alright so lately my running/parting lights have been blowing the fuse, so i just keep replacing it because its winter and i don't want to search for a wire in the frigid cold. Well now on my way into work my running/parking lights went out and so did my dash lights. I checked the fuse and it wasn't bad. If i pull the headlight switch just right the dash lights will come on but they won't stay on.

this is my daily driver. Please any help on where to locate the wire or wires that could be grounding out would be very much appreciated or any other ideas you guys have.

Thank you

I would start but removing the head light switch and check it for burned and melting also make sure that the wire harness isn't melted.

2 different wiring systems, guys.

On the 96, the first place I would look is to see it there's some kinda hokey trailer wiring harness on the Jeep.

What wiring harness are you referring to and where is it located?

The one that plug into the light switch. They both tend to over heat and melt if there isn't a good connection.

Update; i was sick for like two days. I went to AutoZone yesterday and got a sh#t ton of fuses and they happened to have a brand new switch in stock so i bought that also. So after work i will tinker with it and see if i can fix it at the switch.
