Default 88 cherokee vacum leak

Hey guys I think my cherokee has a vacum leak it shakes at idle and it will shake really bad when the rpm get to like 2000 to 2500 and it just sounds like it wants to change to another gear but it doesn't plz post a vacuum diagram if u have one plz

What do you mean shakes? Have you checked your motor mounts? I'm going through a similar problem on my '88, replaced the mounts cause they were shot, doesn't shake as bad. Also check the line at the back of the valve cover going to the manifold, the vac line went bad and replaced it and fixed a high idle and not shifting problem, I'm not sayin it's the same as yours but pop the good and start following lines and seeing for wear

Also check your transmission bellhousing to motor bolts and starter bolts. I was missing a few and it vibrated like your describing at around the same RPM (1-2 shift). My starter almost fell off too LOL.
