Alright, now that I've gotten most of the major things done and taken care of, I've got a small list of what I need to start doing to my '93 next. First up is a slip yoke eliminator. I've got a TC drop, but I don't think it's enough.

I get a bad vibration between 45 and 65 that gets worse as I speed up, but seems to go away over 65. It's not in the wheel as much as in the seat of the pants, so I'm sure it's driveline. I know where to get the SYE, but not a good rear driveshaft.

I have read of people using a front DS off an automatic for the rear, but does that really work? I can see how it COULD, but it just seems to short to me. I'd like to go that route, put in some new U-Joints and throw it on with the SYE instead of dropping even more into a new driveshaft.

 

You wrote "off an automatic" so I assume you drive a stick? Length of DS changes with axle and transmission. Automatic Front DS swap is awesome for Auto owners, most run the same DS front and rear. XJs with manly gearboxes need to pinch drive shafts from a ZJ.

Front, rear is the same stupid slip yoke TC output bull**** that XJs run. Length varies by year, tranny, and engine.
