Default Newbie help requested

I tried searching and couldn't find what I need, but I suck at figuring out the best search terms. I promise to get better.

Anyway, I am looking at buying a '97 XJ that hit the ditch. The front bumper is rolled under on the drivers side, and the seller said the bumper mount bracket is bent. I don't care about as I plan on replacing it anyway, but I am wondering if there is other damage I should be looking for under there? It looks to have been a low speed hit, didn't roll. Fender, grill, and rad already replaced. The biggest problem is that I am 1000 miles away from it and can't easily get there to see it. I am waiting for pictures, should be sent tomorrow. He has several others looking, but no one has offered him the right amount yet.

If the mounting bracket bent, could it have bent anything else underneath? I am new to the unibody thing, do these things twist upon big impact? Like I said, new to this whole XJ thing, but eager to learn more.

Thanks in advance!

$2000-ish for a '97 with 100k miles, mechanically sound, and no rust. Around here that price usually gets you 200+ miles, rusted out body, major mechanical issues, or all three.

It better be damn good otherwise. I got my " as close a new as possible" 99 sport with not 1 spec of rust or scratches, 95k garage kept for 2800. xj's are pretty common and unless you need one right now, I'd pass and just wait for the right one to come along. The way I see it, if your not sure, it's not the right one. I made up my mInd as soon as I saw the thing. just be patient the right one will come along. The owner of this xj is just trying to dish his problems out for 2,000$.

sounds like mine. the front bumper want bent inwards and twisted a bit. took it all off and the bracket was folded in on itself and bent my frame abit. personally i'd deduct what it would normally cost to fix stuff off the asking price. just my 2 bits tho.

Default ‘93 Cherokee XJ Limited

Good evening fellas,

I need a help with exterior paint colors. I search everywhere in the web, and I can’t seem find the color codes for my 9’3 XJ Limited gold trim.

I know for sure is a gray metallic colors, I’m trying to find the exact color so I can restore it to original stock. It’s my grandpa Jeep, been in the barn more than 12 years. Here’s the pictures.
