Thanks everyone. I got home today at 530pm after making the journey to Tacna, AZ to get the XJ. I ended up getting it for $5200. Again, the mileage is only 34,540 and it ran without a flaw all the way back to Orange County. The AC worked great. The only issue was the driveline vibrating slightly which was due to the owner not dropping the transaxle after lifting it. Despite the extremely minor vibration, it ran great and smooth. I love it. I'm so anxious to get it dialed in and to venture offroad with it. The interior needs to be detailed, but the engine bay, underneath, and mechanical parts are in brand new condition. Did I mention the AC worked flawlessly while it was 115*? What a scorching drive home, but I would've never known it.
